Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt made a stunning interception on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes during their game on Sunday.

In a catch similar to the one former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. made years ago against the Dallas Cowboys, Taylor-Britt defended wide receiver Xavier Worthy on the sideline and made the interception with one hand.

The play ended the third quarter and captured the attention of NFL fans around the world.

It was the fifth interception of Taylor-Britt’s career. He had four interceptions for the Bengals last season.

What made the play even more interesting was that it came against Worthy. Taylor-Britt downplayed Worthy’s effectiveness after the rookie flashed his speed against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.

“Speed, that’s about it,” he said of Worthy, according to the Kansas City Star. “He can run straight, he can run jet sweeps, he can just run straight. He can’t do much else, so that’s about it. I think when you get your hands on him, he’s only 100 pounds, so when you get your hands on him, you stop his speed, so you basically get your hands on him.”

An interception by Taylor-Britt gave the ball back to the Bengals, but a fumble by Joe Burrow allowed the Chiefs to pick it up and return it for a touchdown.
