    Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson added another amazing feat to her long list of accolades by becoming the first player in WNBA history to score 1,000 points in a single season. Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo took to social media to celebrate.

    Adebayo, who has been rumored to be in a relationship with Wilson, posted a none-too-subtly tweet on Sunday alluding to Wilson’s performance:

    I hope everyone finds a thousand reasons to smile on this beautiful Sunday. 😁

    Wilson responded to Adebayo’s tweet by posting a gif:

    Wills reached the 1,000 point mark with a jumper in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 84-71 win over the Connecticut Sun. She had set the WNBA single-season scoring record earlier in the week, and Adebayo celebrated her that night as well:

    Wilson and Adebayo have moved on to subtle references while keeping their relationship private. When the Aces referenced Adebayo after Wilson set the scoring record, the two-time WNBA MVP jokingly responded as if she didn’t care:

    Wilson is trying to lead the Aces to their third straight WNBA championship, so perhaps Adebayo will get more chances to honor her during the playoffs.

    Wilson and the Aces return to action on Tuesday against the Seattle Storm.
