Badgers News: Game Thread vs. Purdue Boilermakers

Fresh off a 38-21 loss to the No. 11 USC Trojans in Week 5, the Wisconsin Badgers return home for a battle against the Purdue Boilermakers, with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. at Camp Randall Stadium.

Wisconsin had a strong first half against USC, jumping out to a 21-10 lead, but slumped in the second half to fall to 2-2 on the year, including 0-1 in conference play.

The Boilermakers, on the other hand, have had a rough start to the season, losing 1-3 to Notre Dame, Oregon State and Nebraska, with their only win coming against Indiana State.

The Badgers, seen as 13.5-point favorites, look to put together a consistent and dominant performance here in Week 6 as they navigate without running back Chez Mellusi, who is stepping away from the team to recover from his injuries, it was revealed the team announced on Thursday.

Wisconsin comes into the game with a pair of injuries per the injury report, with Max Lofy, Aaron Witt and Kyan Berry-Johnson listed as questionable in Week 6.
