We are in a rainy pattern and today is the most likely chance we will see precipitation. We are looking at the potential for a few strong to severe storms this afternoon.

TIME SETTING:

• Now until 5pm – New showers and storms are moving in, some becoming severe
• 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM – Isolated showers are still possible, but they will not be as strong and not as clearly visible.

There was a lot of rain on Tuesday morning and more showers will pass by for the rest of the morning, while the sky is mainly cloudy.
Another round of showers and storms will develop early this afternoon. This is when we could see a few stronger storms with today’s system. This includes the risk of large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes. This will be from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Any precipitation remaining after 6:00 PM will be isolated and not as strong.

Wednesday, clouds will remain and with that a small chance of rain. These are only a few showers, but it is another gloomy day. Temperatures will reach around 79 degrees.

Tropical moisture is the next story and a storm that will become Helene is coming out of the Gulf of Mexico. We could see some isolated showers from this system as early as Thursday, but it looks like Friday is the most likely window for our area to see precipitation from this system. It will stick around the Ohio Valley for a few more days!
