6 minutes agoNew York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard caught six of his nine targets for 89 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 1. The Lazard/Aaron Rodgers connection from Green Bay appears to be alive and well for the Jets, as the two exchanged a touchdown pass for 36 yards in the third quarter. Lazard’s second touchdown came from Tyrod Taylor late in the fourth quarter during garbage time. That said, Lazard had a banner year with Rodgers two years ago with the Packers and could easily become New York’s No. 2 receiver. He’s worth watching on waivers for a Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.—Matt T – RotoBaller
