AGATHA ALL ALONG arrives on Rotten Tomatoes with one of the worst scores of all time for Marvel Television

As we write this, over 50 rulings have been made for Agatha Always Already have been tallied on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning an important Tomatometer score has been generated by the review aggregator.

Despite the overwhelmingly positive response on social media, critics appear to be a little more divided as the WandaVision follow-up is at a solid 67%. Interestingly enough, over 500 fans have cast their votes on the “Popcornmeter” and Agatha Always Already a much higher score of 78%.

At 67%, the latest Marvel TV series to hit Disney+ is among Secret Invasion (52%) and Echo (70%).

On the other hand, WandaVision has 92% and remains one of the highest rated streaming offerings of the MCU, surpassed only by Ms Marvel (98%) and X-Men ’97 (99%).

Of Agatha Always Already Planned as a standalone limited series, neither reviews nor ratings are likely to have a major impact on Marvel Studios’ future plans. WandaVision story continues with Vision and we’d bet that Agatha Harkness will play at least a supporting role in future projects like Midnight sun and the long rumors Scarlet Witch function.

In our review of the series, we concluded with the words: “Agatha All Along is a creepy, beautiful, supernatural delight. It’s a worthy successor to WandaVision and a showcase for the enchanting Kathryn Hahn as your new MCU favorite, Agatha Harkness.”
