STOCKROOM is a new cultural centre in Stockport, UK, part of the Greater Manchester region. It will house a community library, a children’s learning space, a café and more. It is intended to be an adaptive space that welcomes the public to come in and experience growth.

DBD Creative created the identity for the development. From DBD’s Instagram:

“The logo identity is inspired by the brutalist concrete architecture of the shopping centre that STOCKROOM will call home. The typography echoes the large, rectangular structures that crown the building…. The word ROOM separates down the middle, with the two letter O’s creating a space to showcase text and imagery. This design choice emphasises the adaptive nature of the brand and emphasises that what happens inside STOCKROOM truly defines it.”
