(KBTX) – One ticket matched all six numbers drawn in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing to win the $810 million jackpot ($409.3 million in cash), lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were the white balls 1, 2, 16, 24 and 66, plus the golden Mega Ball 6.

The lone jackpot ticket was sold at Murphy USA 8848 in Sugar Land.

According to the lottery, this is the 15th time the Mega Millions jackpot has been won in Texas since the state joined the game in December 2003.

Four other tickets won $1 million in prizes by matching all five white balls. Those tickets were sold in California, Florida, New York and Washington.

Tuesday’s jackpot was the seventh-largest in the game’s history and only the third to be won in 2024.
