4 Atlanta Falcons who should take the blame for their sputtering offense

Tyler Allgeier has been Atlanta’s best rushing attack and can create more open space. This is the reality of what the numbers and your eyes will tell you. Allgeier fights for every inch and creates space when teams should have him dead. Robinson has made a handful of big plays, but is often stopped short of the line of scrimmage.

Blame has been suggested for blocking Atlanta or Zac Robinson’s plan. Another year and another set of excuses for a spine that still doesn’t live up to expectations. This is the same offensive line and OC calling plays when Allgeier runs the football and the results are vastly different. Atlanta’s starting running back should be held to a higher standard and be able to create more big plays.

It seems like every broadcast speaks highly of Bijan and his ability to create the big play. Where are they? For a player who should be among the elite, the results are surprisingly average. The talent is there, we don’t question this in any way. However, it’s only fair to point out that this is the second season in a row where the hype has outweighed the production so far.
