3 QBs the Green Bay Packers NEED to TRADE After Jordan Love Injury

Green Bay Packers fans are currently in a frenzy after a Week 1 loss and an injury to franchise quarterback Jordan Love. The severity of the injury is not yet known, but we do know it was a left knee injury that you can clearly see popping in the video.

Anyway, for Packers fans, at worst you need a QB to keep things going this season. Here are three for you.

Option #1: Broncos QB Zach Wilson

I wrote this piece about Wilson being the ideal candidate, and I really can’t get over it.

Broncos Receive: 2025 3rd Round Pick from GB & 2026 6th Round Pick from GB

Packers Receive: QB Zach Wilson

“Zach Wilson’s playing style is very similar to that of former Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and to some extent Jordan Love. Wilson is known for his strong arm, mobility and ability to make plays outside the pocket. These traits are indicative of the type of quarterback that Green Bay has historically thrived with.

Wilson’s playing style fits well with the Packers’ offensive scheme, which is designed for a quarterback who can make dynamic throws and extend plays. Despite his challenges in New York, Wilson has the potential to fit seamlessly into Green Bay’s systemespecially if he is given the opportunity to adapt and grow under the Packers’ coaching staff.

The similarity between Wilson’s skill set and the playing styles of Rodgers and Love could make the transition smoother. If Wilson can take advantage of this lineup, he could prove to be a valuable asset to the Packers, providing them with a semblance of stability as they deal with Love’s injury.”

Option #2: Jaguars QB Mac Jones

Jaguars Receive: 2025 3rd Round Pick from GB

Packers Receive: QB Mac Jones

Mac Jones got such a bad rap with the new England Patriots, but has had a nice resurgence in the preseason so far with Jacksonville. He’s at his best with elite talent at receiver, similar to his days at Alabama with Jameson Williams, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs II and co.

With the Packers, he would be a perfect fit in that Kyle Shanahan-esque offense that Matt Lefluer runs. Give him the talent at WR and TE that they have, and the Packers would be in the playoffs.

Option #3: Rams QB Jimmy Garoppolo

Rams Receive: 2025 4th Round Pick from GB & 2026 4th Round Pick from GB

Packers Receive: QB Jimmy Garoppolo

The Rams currently have a young reserve in Stetson Bennett who could be their true #1, so why not give Jimmy G a starting spot? He’s proven to be successful in Shanahan’s system with the 49ers, and his veteran presence would be more than enough to push this team to a playoff spot.

Option #4: Current backup Malik Willis

Malik Willis would obviously be in line for the new QB position in Love’s absence. Although he had a good training camp with the Titans, he lost his spot to Mason Rudolph. There is no doubt that the three quarterbacks mentioned above would do better for the Packers this season.
