The Flames have been excellent thus far on their way to a 4-0 record, and are starting to gain some traction in the American LBM Coaches Poll. They may not be ranked yet, but they are certainly on the radars of NCAA coaches. FIU wasn’t so lucky, entering the first week of C-USA play with a 2-3 record, including losses to FAU and Monmouth.

Of course, nothing matters until conference play starts. If the Panthers can end Liberty’s short winning streak, FIU could turn heads in C-USA.
