Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy combine for a nifty TD

The Kansas City Chiefs are on their way to earning their fifth win of the 2024 regular season against the New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football.”

After a wild interception by former Chiefs defensive lineman Khalen Saunders led to a Saints touchdown that cut Kansas City’s lead to three points, Patrick Mahomes quickly marched the defending Super Bowl champions onto the field.

The Chiefs hit paydirt to score a touchdown after coming out in a funky pistol formation with a tight end. Travis Kelce received the snap from center Creed Humphrey before handing the ball to rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who squeezed into the end zone.

Take a look at the tricky play, which was posted on the Chiefs’ official Twitter account:

While there is still plenty of time left for New Orleans to mount a fourth-quarter comeback, this play by Kelce and Worthy gave Kansas City a ten-point lead when kicker Harrison Butker scored his extra point attempt.

Stay tuned to see if the Chiefs can move to 5-0 heading into their bye week.
