Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Richardson was a limited participant in practice all week after suffering an oblique injury during the Colts’ 27-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.

It’s the 14th missed game in two seasons for Richardson, who twice left last week’s win against Pittsburgh.

He was hit hard first on his right hip during a planned run and again three plays later when he appeared to make another big hit.

Veteran Joe Flacco, 39, will make his first start of the season against the winless Jaguars.

The Colts will also be without running back Jonathan Taylor and center Ryan Kelly.

Taylor did not participate in practice this week after suffering an ankle injury against the Steelers. Taylor had gone 108 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown before leaving in the fourth quarter.

Taylor leads the Colts in carries, rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

Richardson is second on the team in carries and rushing yards. Richardson and Trey Sermon each have one rushing score.
