NFL Week 5 live updates: Bears vs. Panthers, Patriots vs. Dolphins, inactives, scores, analysis

Running back Brian Robinson is active for the Washington Commanders Week 5 home game against the Cleveland Browns.

Robinson, Washington’s rushing yards leader with 307, missed two practices with a knee issue and was “limited” on Friday. On Friday, head coach Dan Quinn suggested the third-year RB was heading in the right direction. Robinson’s tag team partner,

Austin Ekeler will play after missing the Week 4 win at Arizona with a concussion. Washington’s offense will be without WR Noah Brown (groin)

Quarterbacks Sam Hartman and Jeff Driskel are out after Washington activated Marcus Mariota from injured reserve this week. Driskel, Jayden Daniels’ primary backup for the first four games, is the emergency QB.

DE Clelin Ferrell (knee) is out for the third straight game. Guard Chris Paul, safety Tyler Owens (calf) and linebacker Dominique Hampton are also inactive.

Brown’s absence means more opportunities for rookie Luke McCaffrey, Olamide Zaccheus and Dyami Brown. Defensively, former starting safety Darrick Forrest is active for the first time this season.
