Well, we have to be very clear: worse than expected.

Autumn seems to want to surprise us at all costs and after a month of September that certainly corresponds to the meteorological and climatic peculiarities of the past, our idea regarding October seems to want to become reality. Yes, exactly, it seems that October does not intend to follow the usual subtropical diktat, but rather seems to want to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor. For now, we can forget about the scorching heat and focus our attention on the annoying deterioration of the weather next week. Yes exactly, instead of the heat there will be a deterioration of the meteorological picture and be careful, given the latest model updates it could be a lasting crisis.

We will have the opportunity to talk about it in detail, but we can expect that the arrangement of high and low pressure – also called baric configuration – will be extremely beneficial to the sustainability of the fall. But now allow us a consideration… A consideration that arises from the unpredictability of the weather and that is precisely the beauty – but also the ugliness – of our subject.

It would not have the undoubted charm that many, indeed many, recognize.

It’s complicated, but at the same time it can teach us respect. Respect for nature, respect for the atmosphere, respect for an extremely dynamic system, conditioned by a large number of variables and as such capable of overturning even apparently probable hypotheses. But if you know it deeply, it is a subject that can send clear signals. Predictive signals, those signals that we have mentioned more and more in recent months.

After all, atmospheric analyzes serve exactly this purpose: trying to untangle the strand.

When we wrote that October could, in our humble opinion, bring us even worse weather and climatic conditions than those of the past, it was because the atmospheric signals were pointing in that direction. That said, we will have a muscular October from the start, an October that could leave its mark immediately. Temperatures are dropping and will drop further during next week.

Just as phenomena of a certain intensity will occur again, to which we will certainly have to pay attention.
