Are you having problems connecting to the internet? You’re not alone.

Many Hargray Communications customers reported outages on Monday that impacted Verizon Wireless customers, according to downdetector.com. The highest point was around 11 a.m. with more than 2,500 outages.

Although Downdetector has not yet listed the most commonly reported locations, the outage map indicates particularly high concentrations around coastal Georgia (including Savannah) and the Atlanta metro area.

Hargray posted the following message on Facebook around Monday afternoon:

“We are aware of an issue that is currently affecting the ability of some of our customers to reach us by phone. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this as soon as possible In the meantime, our representatives are available via online chat at https://www.hargray.com/support/contact-us. We will share updates here as information becomes available.”
