Travis Kelce loves being his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s biggest hype man.

After Swift raved about Kelce in her VMAs acceptance speech on Wednesday night, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end subtly showed his appreciation by liking an Instagram video posted by MTV featuring Swift’s moving tribute.

In the video, Swift, 34, accepts the Video of the Year award at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, and takes a moment to thank Kelce, also 34, who was noticeably absent due to team commitments.

“Only one person cheers louder for @taylorswift than me — and that’s @killatrav #VMAs,” MTV’s caption read, highlighting Kelce’s supporting role.

The international pop sensation, who is currently on a break from her record-breaking Eras Tour — took the stage to express her gratitude, publicly calling Kelce her “boyfriend” for the first time.

“I always heard someone cheering on the other side of the studio where we were filming (the Two weeks music video),” she shared, holding her Moon Person trophy.

Swift continued, “And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis. Everything that man touches turns into happiness and joy and magic, and I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that.”

Kelce was unable to attend the awards ceremony because he was working out with the Chiefs in preparation for their game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but his show of support made it clear that he was cheering Swift on from a distance.
