    Mega Millions Winning Numbers for 9/10/24; Huge $800 Million Jackpot

    The Mega Millions jackpot from Tuesday’s drawing has risen to an estimated $800 million after no one won the huge prize on Friday. Lottery fever continues to build.

    The drawing of the winning numbers is scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. (ET). The results can be found below.

    According to the lottery, one lucky player could walk away with an estimated one-time payout of $404.2 million (after taxes) if he or she wins the jackpot on Tuesday.

    Two people have won the Mega Millions jackpot this year: the first in March, when a player from New Jersey walked away with a whopping $1.13 billion, and the second in June, when a player from Illinois won $552 million.

    The winning numbers for the Tuesday, September 10th drawing were: 1, 2, 16, 24 and 66 with a Mega Ball of 6. The Megaplier was 4X.

    How do you play Mega Millions?

    To purchase a ticket, you will need to go to your local grocery store, gas station, or convenience store. In some states, you can also purchase tickets online.

    To play, you have to choose six numbers. Five numbers are white balls from 1 to 70. The golden Mega Ball is a number between 1 and 25.

    If you think the odds are slim, ask for a “Quick Pick” or an “Easy Pick.” The computer will randomly generate the numbers for you.

    Players can add the “Megaplier” for $1, which can increase non-major prize winnings by two, three, four or five times. The Megaplier is drawn before the Mega Millions numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays.
