CHAMPAIGN, Illinois — Kansas’ 2024 regular season football continues Saturday with a non-conference game at Illinois.

The Jayhawks defeated Lindenwood last week to open the season 1-0. The Fighting Illini are also 1-0 after a season opener against Eastern Illinois. The two teams met last year in Lawrence, where KU won 34-23.

Kansas will be the favorite, as it enters the game ranked 20th in the nation. However, Illinois has home field advantage, so it’s an intriguing game.
