There are a lot of interesting games in Week 1 of the American football season, and the SEC is well represented in each of them.

No. 7 Notre Dame travels to College Station, Texas, to take on No. 23 Texas A&M, while No. 14 Clemson and No. 1 Georgia square off in Atlanta. There’s also a rivalry game between No. 19 Miami and Florida, along with a Sunday night game between No. 23 USC and No. 13 LSU in Death Valley.

Opening week for most teams around the country marks a historic time in college football, with Oklahoma and Texas making their debut games as members of the SEC, along with Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA playing their first games as Big Ten members. Meanwhile, SMU, Cal and Stanford are in the ACC, while Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah have moved up to the Big 12.
