    North Carolina football fans will get their first chance to see the new-look Tar Heels take on Minnesota on Thursday (8 p.m., FOX) at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

    With Drake Maye now playing for the NFL’s New England Patriots, both Max Johnson and Conner Harrell are in line to be the Tar Heels’ starting quarterback in the opener. Despite losing Maye, UNC returns several starters, including running back Omarion Hampton and pass rusher Kaimon Rucker.
