Clark played a quiet first half with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Clark got tangled up with Atlanta’s Nia Coffey on the defensive end late in the first quarter and twisted her left ankle. Erica Wheeler replaced her, but Clark returned to start the second quarter and made a floater on Indiana’s first possession.

Clark joked after the game that after watching the replay she was “soft” for falling on the court.

Clark entered Monday’s game averaging 17.9 points per game (10th in the league, most among rookies) and a league-leading 8.3 assists. Her 89.7% free-throw accuracy was fourth.
