Mariah Carey has suffered twice as much loss.

The 55-year-old singer has revealed that her mother, Patricia, and older sister, Alison, both passed away on the same day last weekend.

“I am heartbroken that I lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day,” Carey said in a statement to The Post.

“I feel blessed to have been able to spend the last week with my mother before she passed,” she continued. “I appreciate everyone’s love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.”

Carey has not revealed any other details about her mother and sister’s deaths. Their cause of death is unknown at this time.

Based on available information, it appears that Alison was 63 and Patricia was 84, although their ages have not been confirmed.

Patricia was a Juilliard-trained opera singer and vocal coach. After marrying Carey’s father, Alfred Roy Carey, she had three children: daughters Alison and Mariah, and son Morgan.

Patricia and Alfred divorced when the Grammy winner was only three years old.

Carey’s relationship with her sister and her mother was sometimes strained.

In her 2020 memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” the singer wrote, “Like so many aspects of my life, my journey with my mother has been full of contradictions and competing realities. It’s never just been black and white — it’s been a whole rainbow of emotions.”

“Our relationship is a thorny cord of pride, pain, shame, gratitude, jealousy, admiration and disappointment,” she added. “A complicated love connects my heart to my mother’s.”
