Taylor Swift want to Travis Kelce to make room for new adventures.

Ryan Murphy—who directed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in his upcoming show Grotesque— shared the advice the Grammy winner gave her boyfriend when he signed on to star in the FX series.

“The only thing (Travis and I) talked about was that she’s very supportive, and if he’s interested, she wants him to try it,” Ryan exclusively told E! News at the premiere on September 23 of Grotesque in New York. “I was very happy with that.”

Ryan had heard nothing but “sweet, sweet things” about Taylor, adding, “I love her too.”

And when it came to working with the footballer, the American horror story creator admitted that Travis didn’t need tips. As Ryan, who also created and produced the drama series, put it, “A star is a star is a star, and he’s a star.”

“He’s so charismatic, and he’s so smart, he’s sweet,” he continued. “He had a time frame. He asked me to come up with something for him. I did. It was an honor.”
