The country icon wore a dark denim halter dress with glittering diamond additions. An interesting aspect of her outfit is that the star collaborated with Levi’s to bring this dress to life. In particular, she looked to her grandparents’ bejeweled men’s country music outfits for inspiration to design the outfit.

Shania Twain shone bright as a diamond as she arrived at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards on September 26. According to WWD, the country singer opted for a custom-designed outfit from Levi’s, combining denim and diamonds as the star posed for photos. Her striking mermaid-style denim dress featured an oversized dagger collar and an elegant, flowing line.

Twain accentuated the look with a burst of rhinestones and crystals all over the outfit. These additions were more prominent on the top portion and bottom of the dress and spread more across the course. She also wore long denim gloves with embellished crystals with the two-piece dress. The gloves also had sparkly cuffs to match the oversized collar.

The country icon collaborated with Levi’s to share her creative input into the brand’s custom design. In an interview with E! News spoke to Twain about her contribution to the outfit, saying, “Isn’t it crazy? I love it. I was involved in the sketches and the design and the silhouette and all that. For me that is the joy. It’s not about putting on something great, it’s about being part of it.”

Although Twain kept the accessories to a minimum, her statement diamond ring on the gloved pinky was enough to add drama to the ensemble. The “You’re Still the One” singer opted for retro, ’60s-style blonde hair in a shoulder-length bob.

Shania Twain had two things to look forward to at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards. Not only did she host the event, but she was also nominated in The Concert Tour of 2024 category.
