The internet is currently in an uproar over the slightest hint of AI intervention in art. And for good reason: even big-budget Marvel productions apparently aren’t immune to dubious art being used officially. This is evident in a new poster for Thunderbolts, which depicts a character with six fingers on one hand.

Yeah, look over there on the bottom left: that’s a guy with six fingers, and as Gamespot points out, that character (Bob) has five fingers in a teaser for the film.

Assuming Marvel doesn’t announce a third-act twist where this particular Thunderbolt grows a new finger, the six-fingered poster shared today by the official Marvel Twitter and Instagram accounts appears to be different than intended. Interestingly, that version is the only one with the error. A narrower version of the poster that cuts off before the sixth finger appeared in Marvel’s official blog post alongside the new teaser.
