Giants injuries: Malik Nabers suffers a concussion late in the fourth quarter

New York Giants star rookie receiver Malik Nabers suffered a concussion late against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.

He left the field late in the fourth quarter and was ruled out with a concussion as the Giants made a last-ditch effort for a comeback victory.

Nabers was injured trying to make a difficult catch on 4th and 6 with 3:30 to go. A scrambling Daniel Jones’ pass led Nabers out of bounds, and the rookie was ultimately unable to hold onto the ball as he dipped his toes for a driving catch. He landed hard, made worse by a Cowboys defender hitting him hard as he fell.

The rookie will now enter the concussion protocol while the Giants have a 10-day break before taking on the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle. The question now is whether Nabers will clear the protocol in time to travel with the team.
