The match comes too early for Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia, although the two have returned to work at Carrington in the past week.

Leny Yoro remains a concern in the longer term, but the manager said in his pre-match press conference that he remains hopeful that Luke Shaw – who has not played for the Reds since February 18 – can return to action before the October international break.
