According to reports, Ratan Tata had endorsed the appointment of Leah, Maya and Neville as trustees of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, the main philanthropic arms of the Tata Trusts. Marcel Tata:

Neville Tata currently heads Star Bazaar, which operates under Trent Limited, a Tata company. His leadership qualities and business acumen are evident in his management of the retail business.
