🥚3. Bills held scoreless in second quarter, Texans score late

Neither offense was able to generate points for much of the second quarter. The Bills offense struggled to get much going on their three drives in the second quarter, punting on all three consecutive drives.

The Texans had a chance to score on their first drive of the second quarter, but were stopped deep in Buffalo territory on a fourth-down run to RB Dare Ogunbowale that LB Terrel Bernard and DB Cam Lewis combined for the tackle.

On their final drive of the half after a punt by P Sam Martin, with 30 seconds left in the half, Stroud drove the Texans to the Bills’ 32-yard line leading to a K Ka’imi Fairbairn 50-yard field goal , ending the second quarter with a 17-3 lead.

This marked the first time the Bills trailed by double digits at halftime in back-to-back games, with Allen starting at QB in both games.
