After trading field goals with the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Steelers scored the first touchdown of the night and took a 10-6 lead with 11:50 left in the third quarter when Justin Fields found tight end Connor Heyward for a score of 16 meters. .

Connecting with Heyward is a redemption of sorts for the pair after Fields overthrew the tight end on what could have been a big play on the Steelers’ first drive.

Fields’ strike also came several times after he briefly left on a big hit from defenseman Tyrus Wheat, who was flagged for roughing the passer. Fields missed two plays, including a 19-yard pass from backup quarterback Kyle Allen to tight end Pat Freiermuth, but he came back and threw four straight completions, including the touchdown.
