Badgers News: Braedyn Locke recaps performance, looks at Week 6

Fresh off a 38-21 loss to the No. 11 USC Trojans, the Wisconsin Badgers are set to meet the Purdue Boilermakers here in Week 6 as they look to bounce back and improve to 3-2.

It was a tale of two halves last week, with Wisconsin getting off to a fast start before sputtering in the second half where they were outscored 28-0, ultimately leading to the loss.

Ahead of this week, quarterback Braedyn Locke spoke to reporters, detailing his Week 5 performance and looking ahead to this weekend’s game against Purdue.

As Badgers head coach Luke Fickell noted after the game, Locke felt like the first half was what Wisconsin wanted to see from their offense, but the goal now is to be consistent through four quarters.

That means the run game and the passing attack must be complementary, which is what the Badgers tried to accomplish in Week 5 by making some explosive plays early in the game.

Now they will try to put it all together against the Purdue Boilermakers, who have struggled this season and are 1-3 in this game, with the only win coming against Indiana State.
