Rapper Lucas Coly has reportedly died at the age of 27, his manager claimed in a now-deleted post on Thursday.

The hip-hop artist’s manager made the claims via Instagram on Thursday with a photo of Coly smoking outside.

“Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is torn in two. Wait for me there 🙏,” he originally captioned the post, according to Us Weekly. However, he later edited the caption to only include a heart emoji.

Coly’s I Discover Stars Entertainment manager, whose name was not revealed, also shared a second post of the hitmaker posing with a friend.

“Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here,” the talent manager wrote on the post, according to the outlet, before deleting the caption.

“There’s a hole in my heart right now, Lucas. We always talked about our problems but smiled in front of the fans.

“So many people hurt us over and over again, but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now. I’d be a hypocrite if I told you not to, and I’m going to do the same.

The manager emotionally revealed that his heart was “torn to shreds” after his client’s alleged death.

“God sent him back here. Please 💔 I’m broken here #riplucascoly #checkonyourfriends,” he concluded before editing the posts to remove the caption.

According to Us Weekly, Coly’s longtime manager also asked fans to pray for Coly’s girlfriend, Amber, via a now-deleted Facebook post.

“Amber will confirm the news when she is ready,” the manager wrote. “Please give her time to process and heal. Once funeral arrangements have been made.”

Before his alleged death, the “I Just Wanna” rapper wrote “I love y’all” on his Instagram Story, with an orange heart emoji.

A representative for the French-born artist was not immediately available for comment to Page Six and the outlet could not independently confirm his death.

Several fans mourned Coly’s passing on social media, with one writing on

“My heart breaks for Lucas Coly (sic) family, friends and girlfriend,” a second wrote, while another added: “Heartbreaking news… gone way too soon.”

Coly was born in France, but emigrated to America when he was 8 years old. He rose to fame on Vine by posting videos of himself rapping when he was around 17 years old.
