How to watch Game 2 of the Wild Card Series

Good morning, baseball fans!

As I mentioned last week, it’s always on my days off that the San Francisco Giants news breaks. I fully expected them to part ways with Farhan Zaidi after last season. I even expected that we would eventually see President Buster Posey. However, I didn’t expect that we would see him lead the entire team before he was even eligible for the Hall of Fame ballot.

Wild times. Anyway, I just wanted to get my two cents in, but that’s not why we’re here.

No, today we’re here to see what’s in store for the ongoing Wild Card series.

First up, the Detroit Tigers will look to eliminate the Houston Astros after taking a 1-0 series lead with a 3-1 victory yesterday. Their series continues at 11:32 a.m. PT on ABC from Houston. Tyler Holton gets the start for the Tigers and will face Hunter Brown for the Astros.

Next up, the visiting Kansas City Royals will look to do the same against the Baltimore Orioles after beating them in a tight 1-0 win yesterday. Their series continues at 1:38 PM PT on ESPN. Seth Lugo will take the mound for the Royals against Zach Eflin for the Orioles.

The National League gets back to work next, with the New York Mets looking to keep the momentum going after their 8-4 win against the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday. Their match kicks off at 4:38 PM PT, also on ESPN. Old friend Sean Manaea gets the start for the Mets against Frankie Montas for the Brewers.

And finally, the San Diego Padres, the only home team to have a lead in the series thus far, will look to close things out against the Atlanta Braves, who they defeated in a 4-0 shutout yesterday. Their series continues at 5:38 PM PT on ESPN2. Max Fried will take the mound for the Braves and face Joe Musgrove for the Padres.

(Starting pitchers subject to change.)

Enjoy watching and let us know in the comments who you will support! Personally, I’ll stay on the Mets train until it inevitably goes off the rails.
