Official: Real Madrid starting line-up against Lille

As Real Madrid prepare to take on LOSC Lille in their second UEFA Champions League match of the season at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Carlo Ancelotti has announced the starting line-up that will take to the field this evening.

The biggest surprise is that Endrick makes his first ever start for Real Madrid, joining the team in attack in place of compatriot Rodrygo Goes. He forms a duo with Vinicius Jr. at the top.

Meanwhile, Eduardo Camavinga makes his first appearance of the season after returning from injury last weekend.

He replaces Luka Modric in midfield, with Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni retaining their places. Jude Bellingham continues to operate in the No. 10 role.

At the back, Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger and Ferland Mendy form Real Madrid’s defensive unit.

There is a change in goal as Andriy Lunin also makes his first appearance of the season, coming into the team in place of the injured Thibaut Courtois.

Kylian Mbappé is on the bench.
