Defense leads to Wildcats upset on road win against Utah

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The University of Arizona Wildcats earned a surprising 23-10 road win in Salt Lake City against the shorthanded Utah Utes.

Utah was without quarterback Cam Rising, who missed another game due to injury.

In his place, backup Isaac Wilson threw for 280 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

For the Wildcats, quarterback Noah Fifita threw for 197 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

The story of the game was Arizona’s defense, which consistently disrupted Utah’s passing game.

The Wildcats return home next weekend against Texas Tech.
