    Carson Beck’s NFL Draft Stock Called by Fans Amid Georgia-Alabama Battle | News, scores, highlights, stats and rumors

    Carson Beck didn’t have a great performance in the first half against Alabama.

    The Georgia Bulldogs quarterback went 8 of 17 for 98 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions as his team fell into a 30-7 hole after the first 30 minutes.

    This comes after he was ranked as a consensus top quarterback prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, with ESPN’s Mel Kiper having him as the No. 2 quarterback and ESPN’s Field Yates rating him as the top quarterback.

    Fans on social media pushed back on that assessment, calling him overrated.

    Just keep an eye on how hard Carson Beck’s receivers have to work for the football too often. His erratic ball placement remains a problem. From a scouting perspective, this is the biggest difference when comparing him to Shedeur Sanders (who I missed earlier this week).

    They were really trying to say that Carson Beck was a top 5 pick in next year’s draft

    While Beck still has some time to change the narrative in the second half, he will likely still take a big hit from this performance.

    He entered the game with 680 passing yards, seven touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 3-0 record. It’s a long way for him to close the current gap.
