Josh Hart’s anger at Chelsea sparks upset at Karl-Anthony Towns Knicks

The Knicks are in the middle of a blockbuster, but Josh Hart’s attention was focused on Chelsea on Saturday morning.

Hart posted: “Uhh… are we serious?” on X without any other context.

Fans quickly flocked to his comments, believing he was referring to the Knicks trading for Karl-Anthony Towns.

Stefan Bondy of The Post confirmed that the Knicks are acquiring the superstar big man from the Timberwolves.

Hart’s reaction to the deal would be particularly notable considering his good friend – and former Villanova teammate – Donte DiVincenzo was part of the deal, along with Julius Randle, DaQuan Jeffries and a lottery-protected first-round draft pick of the Pistons.

But Hart continued, claiming he was just talking about Chelsea, his favorite football team.

Just before Hart’s post, Chelsea had conceded a goal to Brighton to fall behind 1-0 in their Premier League match.

Hart also recently posted ‘#COYB’, which stands for Come on You Blues – one of Chelsea’s rallying cries.

His complaints apparently worked as Chelsea scored three in a row to take a 3-1 lead and later went 4-2 ahead at half-time.

Cole Palmer scored all four goals for Chelsea, and Hart gave him several shout-outs.

Hart has not yet publicly discussed the trade.

The Knicks and Timberwolves had been working on the deal for some time, The Post reported.
