Parsons initially left the Week 4 game early in the second quarter, but returned to the action. He played his last snap of the night late in the fourth quarter before leaving with the injury. Lawrence, meanwhile, played until early in the third quarter before his night was over.

The Cowboys have had a tumultuous season on the defensive side of the ball, dominating Cleveland to open the season before giving up 72 combined points in back-to-back losses. They entered Week 4 ranked in the bottom five of the NFL in scoring and total defense, but managed to post improved totals and played well enough to keep New York completely out of the end zone on Thursday night.

Now they will have to find a way to keep the positive momentum going without two of their key defenders.
