Shania Twain was hard to miss at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards on Thursday.

The singer – who hosted the event – ​​posed on the red carpet in Nashville wearing a glittering two-piece denim ensemble custom designed by Levi’s. The look included a halter top, a collar with large lapels and evening gloves all adorned with luminous blue crystal rhinestones.

She completed the ensemble by wearing a retro blonde flip-flop – styled by Sami Knight – and a full face of glamorous makeup from makeup artist Susana Hong.

Styled by Greer Heavrin and styling assistant AmyClaire Mugno, Twain’s look was inspired by “both past and modern Levi’s silhouettes to celebrate the iconic fabric of Levi’s jeans, its Western-inspired heritage and the deep-rooted history interwoven through music, artists and creators . and icons,” according to a press release from Levi’s.

“The final two-piece, custom denim dress and gloves were all measured, cut, stitched and crystallized by hand especially for Shania Twain to create a standout red carpet moment,” the brand said.

Levi’s drew from the denim bustier dress, mermaid skirt and Ophelia corset top, as well as pieces from historic tailored looks over the years, to create the full-length denim skirt, which fits snugly at the waist for a modern interpretation of the classic mermaid skirt.

To take the look to the next level and bring it all together, Levi’s recreated an iconic western point collar as an ode to the classic western shirts that embody the brand’s Americana roots and brand DNA, the company said.
