Everything about Hoda Kotb’s house in a New York suburb

Broadcasting titan Hoda Kotb is leaving the bright lights of Manhattan behind and she’s taking a big step to slow down, but not so far away.

The 60-year-old co-host of the “TODAY” show has traded her bustling New York City lifestyle for the quiet, suburban charm of Bronxville – an urban neighborhood in Westchester County. The TV host is also stepping away from her high-profile role on the morning show to spend more time with her daughters, Haley and Hope, marking the start of a new chapter for the beloved journalist.

“I want my home to feel warm and cozy for the kids, and a place where they want to hang out,” Hoda said, discussing the big changes on a recent episode of “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.” And what better place for her girls to call home than a sprawling nearly $2.9 million residence just a short train ride from Manhattan?

Kotb’s new suburban paradise — a 4,000-plus-square-foot gem built in 1952 — comes with four bedrooms, five bathrooms and enough charm to make anyone forget the madness of the Manhattan skyline, according to Realtor.com, which first reported where the place of residence is. According to data from The Post, the deal for this was closed in April.

Recently refurbished by local builders, the home features a chef’s kitchen, vaulted ceilings and even a sun-drenched family room, perfect for relaxing time with the kids.

Spanning an expansive 700 square feet, the master bedroom itself is a sanctuary and features an ensuite spa bathroom adorned with Calcutta marble tile floors with radiant heat, a heated towel warmer, a skylight and vaulted ceilings, according to the previous listing.

But this step is more than just an upgrade in square footage. It’s Hoda’s way of giving her daughters the simple, grounded life she desires. “It’s all new: new kids, new school, new everything,” Kotb said, reflecting on the change. “And it’s funny because all I could think about was I wanted my house to feel warm and cozy… and that’s it.”

The Bronxville home has a spacious backyard, which Kotb has already started using for family dinners under the stars. The plot features a bluestone patio surrounded by colorful gardens, where her daughters have plenty of space to run around. For Kotb, the nearby schools, parks and small-town feel make it the perfect place to raise her children.

Kotb’s representatives did not return a message seeking comment as of press time.

The move to Bronxville may have come as a surprise to her legions of fans, but Hoda has been thinking about it for a while. Earlier this year, she teased the service, saying she was ready for a “fresh start.” Her words were, as always, sincere.

“When I found this place I liked, a small town with everything that could teach my kids independence, I told my kids, ‘We’re repotting.’ They say, ‘What? Are we moving?’ I say, ‘Yes, but we are repotting.’

And as much as Hoda cherished her Manhattan apartment—the place where she began her journey as a mother—this new home symbolizes the future she wants to build for her girls. “We are in for a brand new adventure,” she told her daughters. “We’re going to have so much fun. We have new friends, but also old friends.”

As for leaving her co-host seat behind, Hoda acknowledged that it wasn’t easy. In a moving letter to the ‘TODAY’ staff, she confessed: ‘As I write this, my heart is on the map. I know I’m making the right decision, but it’s a painful decision. And you are all the reason why.”

But for Kotb, it all came down to time: time she wants to spend with her daughters as they start this new life. “I decided now is the right time to move on,” she told her co-hosts, Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager. “Obviously I had my children later in life and they deserve a bigger share of my time than I do.”

Still, Hoda won’t be disappearing from NBC entirely — she made it clear that she plans to stay “in the family.” But for now, the quiet streets of Bronxville and the promise of a slower pace are calling. And as Hoda said it best, “This is going to be a great adventure. Let’s go!”
