The 2024 Presidents Cup kicks off tomorrow morning at Royal Montreal in Quebec, Canada with five four-ball matches, pitting two pairs against each other in the best ball formats. Foursomes will follow on Friday and Saturday. And on Sunday there are twelve traditional singles matches. On Wednesday afternoon, team captains Jim Furyk and Mike Weir selected their duo for Thursday’s four-ball matches.

The Americans have won nine consecutive Presidents Cups dating back to 2003, when the Americans drew 17-17 with the international team. However, their dominance doesn’t end there. They have won 12 of 14 Presidents Cups, only drawing in 2003 and losing in 1998 in Melbourne, Australia.

This year’s U.S. team will once again be tough to beat, featuring some of the best in the world, including Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Scottie Scheffler. However, the international team is no slouch either, with stars like Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama and Adam Scott at their side. Every team will tee off here on Thursday.
