Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever’s season came to an end on Wednesday night when they lost Game 2 of their playoff series to the Connecticut Sun, 87-81.

For Clark, it’s the end of one of the best rookie seasons in WNBA history. After a slow start, she’s gone on to break a bunch of records and look like the star most people thought she would be when the Fever selected her with the No. 1 pick in last April’s draft.

The Fever fought back on Wednesday night to take a lead in the closing stages, but the Sun managed to stop the game in key spots and made some bigger shots in the closing stages to secure a straight-game victory.
