It’s a great individual goal from Rodrygo, although Alaves will be disappointed with the defence. Antonio Sivera will also feel he should do better on that corner.

The good news for Real Madrid is that they can now afford to take their foot off the gas pedal, meaning they can rest their legs ahead of this weekend’s Madrid derby at the Civitas Metropolitano. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Carlo Ancelotti were to start substituting his key players in the coming minutes.
