Report: Trent Brown out for the entire season with a torn patellar tendon

After going down 0-3 on Monday night, the Bengals now also have to take a big loss to their offensive line.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Trent Brown has a torn patellar tendon and is out for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Brown, 31, joined the Bengals in March and had started each of the first three games before injuring his knee in the second quarter of Monday’s eventual loss to the Commanders.

Amarius Mims, Cincinnati’s 2024 first-round pick, came into the team last night to replace Brown and is expected to remain in that role.

Brown has played in 103 games, 96 as a starter, for the 49ers, Patriots, Raiders and Bengals since being selected in the seventh round of the 2015 draft.
