Travis Kelce looked very sad in a viral video from Sunday night’s Kansas City Chiefs game against the Atlanta Falcons, which was not attended by his girlfriend and iconic global pop star Taylor Swift.

In the video, the 34-year-old athlete can be seen sitting on the sidelines, wiping sweat from his nose and brow before looking into the distance.

Responding to the video, one X user commented: “If anyone hurt this golden retriever of a man I will fight him.”

“If you feel sorry for Travis, just remember he’s going back to THE Taylor Swift,” said another.

Meanwhile, Swifties were worried about trouble in paradise over Kelce’s depressed appearance and the noticeable absence of his girlfriend.

Travis Kelce Opens Up About His Performance

In Kansas City’s 22-17 win over Atlanta, Kelce had four receptions for 30 yards. This season, the nine-time Pro Bowler has just eight receptions for 69 yards and zero touchdowns.

On the podcast “New Heights,” which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Travis revealed last week that he would “get really, really angry and almost lose his cool” when he didn’t have a good game.

Despite this, Travis indicated that he would not be discouraged by the disappointing performances of his first two weeks.

“I stopped worrying about stats four or five years ago and just went out there and played freely,” he told listeners. “I think that’s a better mentality.”

Patrick Mahomes Talks Travis Kelce’s Small Role in the Chiefs Offense

Travis’ teammate Patrick Mahomes also offered some insight into the former “Catching Kelce” player’s performance this past weekend, explaining why he hasn’t really been put in his place in the first three games.

Patrick’s statement came after the Chiefs defeated the Falcons on Sunday night to make it 3-0.

The 29-year-old quarterback told reporters: “We call a lot of plays for Travis and it’s like two or three people go to him. He gets it — that’s the great thing about him, he wants to make an impact on the game, but at the end of the day he wants to win.

“People are really trying to get him out of there and open up other guys.”

Patrick and his wife Brittany Mahomes have become good friends with Swift since the singer started dating Travis.
