Three things are certain in life: death, taxes, and the NFL world underestimating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whether it’s team power rankings, Top 100 player lists, PFF rankings, Madden ratings, or individual player awards, the Pittsburgh Steelers are consistently underrated in actual play compared to their poor rankings.

Steelers fans can see for themselves how true this statement is by checking out this week’s NFL Power Rankings on social media.

There are currently only nine undefeated teams in the NFL, and only three of those teams have top-five defenses. The Steelers fit into both categories, but not only do they rank 14, the Ravens, who could potentially be 0-3 in a week, rank 9.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to ignore the outside noise and doubters as they prepare to face an undefeated team in Week 3, the Los Angeles Chargers.
