After a 70-yard drive to start the game, the Broncos picked up Baker Mayfield on a pass intended for Mike Evans. Safety Brandon Jones returned the interception 37 yards to the Tampa Bay 9.

The Broncos disagreed with a third-down run by Javonte Williams after officials ruled him short of the goal line. On the field, however, officials upheld the call.

Jaleel McLaughlin somehow managed to reach the end on fourth down with a run around right end that was well defended.
