QB Jordan Love Officially OUT Against Titans

Jordan Love is officially inactive for Sunday’s showdown with the Tennessee Titans, so the Green Bay Packers will have to try to win a second straight game with Malik Willis — a former Titan — at quarterback.

Love will miss his second game with a sprained MCL in his left knee. Given his training status throughout the week and the intensity of his workouts for Sunday’s game, it seems like a good bet that Love — who was listed as questionable to play — will return next Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.

Willis and the Packers defeated the Indianapolis Colts 16-10 last week to avoid an 0-2 start. On Sunday, they face a winless Titans team desperate to avoid an 0-3 start.

Sean Clifford, who was promoted from the practice squad, will replace Willis.

In addition to Love’s absence, the Packers will also be without cornerback Carrington Valentine, who is nursing an ankle injury, and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan, who re-injured his shoulder last week against the Colts.

Healthy scratches for the Packers include rookie safety Kitan Oladapo and rookie offensive lineman Travis Glover. Defensive lineman Colby Wooden — a fourth-round pick last year — is a healthy scratch for the second straight week. He’s the No. 5 interior defensive lineman on the depth chart.
