College Football Week 4 Picks from ESPN’s College GameDay

College football’s Week 4 slate kicks off today with some big matchups across the country that could impact how the College Football Playoff plays out later today. As we look ahead to Saturday’s kickoffs, let’s nail down our final game picks with a little help from the guys over at ESPN’s College GameDay.

Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Lee Corso and the gang are on the ground in Norman, Oklahoma, to attend a game of historic significance. Oklahoma makes its debut as an SEC team in a big game under the lights against a dynamic opponent from Tennessee, who are considered the favorites.

Other notable matchups created by the conference realignment are also on today’s schedule: USC makes its Big Ten debut when it visits Michigan, and the new member of the Big 12 takes on Oklahoma State in a battle of conference contenders.

Clemson returns from a quiet week with its ACC season opener against NC State. The Wolfpack debut a new quarterback after Grayson McCall was injured, and Georgia Tech visits rival Louisville.

The time for talking is over and the games are about to begin. Let’s make our final picks for the biggest matchups with some help from the guys at ESPN’s College GameDay.

Boston College at Michigan State University: A unanimous decision for the Eagles to win away.

Georgia Tech at Louisville: Pat McAfee was the only one who predicted the Yellow Jackets would spring an upset.

Kansas State at BYU: Kirk Herbstreit was the lone vote in favor of BYU’s home win over the Wildcats.

Baylor at Colorado: Lee Corso sided with Baylor and defeated the Buffs.

Arkansas at Auburn: Herbstreit was the only one who predicted Auburn would beat the favored Razorbacks.

Rutgers at Virginia Tech: Desmond Howard and Herbstreit chose the Scarlet Knights, while the others chose the Hokies at home.

TCU at SMU: McAfee and Corso opted to have the Mustangs play at home against the Horned Frogs.

Utah at Oklahoma State: Nick Saban chose the Cowboys, while the others sided with Utah.

USC at Michigan: Corso was the only one to speak out in favor of the Wolverines, while the others sided with the Trojans in their Big Ten debut.

Tennessee vs. Oklahoma: Everyone on set sided with the Volunteers over the Sooners, except for guest picker Blake Shelton, who sided with OU.

Lee Corso’s Headwear Choice: Tennessee beats Oklahoma.
